What Is Wind Energy?

Wind turbines capture the energy of the wind and convert it to electricity. Wind energy is an alternative to energy produced by burning fossil fuels. Wind energy comes from a natural and renewable resource (it will never run out), it is clean: it produces no greenhouse gas emissions nor emits air pollutants, and it uses very little water.
